In 1831 his address was Ulverston. Later he was appointed Resident Apothecary to the Kendal Dispensary 17 Feb 1834 for a 3 year period but was still in Kendal after the expiry of his contract during which time he was a witness at some later coroner's enquiries (Cumbria Record Office, Kendal).
